Ballet Under the Stars

Kick off the ballet season at Ballet Under the Stars, an elegant event that is free and open to the public. Featuring contemporary and classical ballet performances from Ballet Arizona's dancers, the special outdoor event is family friendly and takes place in the fall to enjoy the warm Arizona nights. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, pack a picnic, and enjoy an evening of fine arts performances with your neighbors. 

Irish Fountain Fest and St. Patrick's Day Greening

Fountain Hills knows how to kick off the St. Patrick's Day celebrations, with the final touch taking place on St. Patrick's Day when the town turns the namesake fountain's water's green in honor of the day. The weekend before St. Patrick's Day is Irish Fountain Fest, where you will find food, live music, and family friendly fun.

Enjoy performances from traditional Irish Folk dancers and Celtic rock bands, spend some time in the Crescent Crown beer garden, or bring the whole family to the kids' zone. 

Family Fun Night

Beat the heat on a summer night be heading inside the Fountain Hills Community Center with the whole family for Family Fun Night. The event features games, crafts, inflatables, food trucks, and more, with a special theme each year. 

Roll in the Glow

Kick off the winter holiday season in a uniquely Arizona way, by joining a nighttime community bike ride. With mild temps that make a December bike ride comfortable, Roll in the Glow is many Fountain Hills residents' favorite special annual event. 

Join the bike parade and compete in age specific categories for the best decorated bikes, decked out in glowing accessories of all kinds. Enjoy live music and inflatables at the end of the parade to complete the evening. 

Spooky Blast

Spooky Blast is a fun way to celebrate Halloween in Fountain Hills, with a long list of fun things to do that include trick or treating, inflatables, a Thriller flash mob, food trucks, costume contests for pets and people, and a family friendly movie in the park to wrap up the night. 

Turkey Trot

Enjoy a classic Thanksgiving morning tradition at the Fountain Hills Turkey Trot. The event features a 5k run and a 1 mile walk, making it accessible for anyone who wants to participate. Whether you show up to compete for first in the race or the festive Thanksgiving costume contest, or just to have some fun in the crisp fall morning air, you will love this special holiday event. 

Fountain Hills Music Fest

One of the best ways to spend a weekend in the spring in Fountain Hills is at the Fountain Hills Music Fest. This special outdoor event features 6 musical acts spread over 2 evenings, showcasing a variety of genres. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and grab some delicious food from the food trucks parked on site for a great weekend under the stars.
